As most of you know, I love Superfrog. It is definately one of the best Amiga platform games. So I thought it would be appropriate to start a competition for it.

As we are competing for a high score, you can start at whatever level you want, using level codes. Some levels are full of points.

You can use easy mode and 7 lives as it will be too hard for most people if you don't, but if you want you can use less lives and hard mode wink.gif

I don't know what specs you need for this. It works on my A500+ fine. It's also worked on all the emulator configs that I have used.

Please stick to the Amiga version. The MS-DOS version is alot harder, even in easy mode, but if you want to use the dos version, it'd be good to see what score you get.

I wrote a review of superfrog on the classicamiga site if you want to read it.

I'll start with a score that I got earlier. I will be able to beat it though.

My highest score name is STEPHEN3.

Good luck! thumbs.gif

Does Superfrog save it's highscores? or does it lose them when you reset the Amiga?

I'm asking because I completed Superfrog many years ago on a single days play and if it does save the hiscore I would still have it wink.gif

Otherwise I will just have to go play it some more smile.gif

I think you can save the highscore using the highscore part in the options.

I've never done it though as it requires a blank formatted disk (I think) and I didn't have one. I will find out though.

I might well have them saved then if that is the case. I will have to have a look.

I notice, admittedly with a fair bit of satisfaction, that an entire week has now passed.

The Ancient Pyramid levels are definitely some of the best in the game.

Those and the one's with all the bouncing buffer things.

Although saying that the Medievil levels were good too.

Oh... the whole game is just great tongue.gif

bouncing buffer things? WTF are they?

DO you mean those balls with the spikes coming out of them the bounce up and down?

The ACME Big Sucking Thing is really cool in Fun Land.
